It lives in alot more places than that, We have them here in florida, When I lived in seattle one of our neighbors 3 year olds spent 3 weeks in the hospital because of a brown recluse bite, and Ive seen them in California too. They live all over the United states mexico and canada. I dont know where you got that information, but its definitely wrong
