A special miata...
First i have to say i alway felt like older miata were chicks car but i really like the new model. I like the fact they are rwd and 6 speed but WTF there is no power in those engine. And the mazdaspeed is just going to cost so much...
I did see some mx-5 with a 302 engine --> must be quick! but god damn it must handle curv like ----... Well today i was browsing on some other forum and i saw that: i must mention i'm not a fan of ricey thing... but ---- when i saw that i was like : omg!! a powerfull 4cyl engine in a miata http://www.clubcivicquebec.com/ubb/graemlins/drool.gif... i just wished they put it in a new mx-5 It must almost be easier to fit this in a miata than in a civic... Yeah that motor is definitely better placed there than in the heavy ass S2000.

WHY? the stock miata motor is a Killer, go on www.flyingmiata.com and you can see that their bolt on turbo kit runs 12 psi on stock internals.
I still dont get the point of doing that swap. |

but the best part is you would never expect it... s2k's are known to be fast and are sometimes expected to be fast... how many times have you gone to say some street runs and expected a miata to be fast? let alone have an s2k motor?

I know a guy with a 5.0 in a miata. The thing runs low 11's with no traction, street tires. And it handles.
