Interesting, I didn't think it was a problem with the forums just thought it was a well thought out script :P Guess the random character verification thing wouldn't work in this case...
phpbb used to have a ton of crazy exploits. I found one on a huge game forum once where you could just put a tag in your location that would end up corrupting the database.
