i am just wondering why some of the guys in another post are removing springs from them wasnt sure if it is for sound purposes or the fact that there may be a flaw in the design of them.

im pretty sure it was because the spring was too loose allowing boost to leak from the diaphragm, which in turn would change the way it sounds
