i dont think VTEC is working......when i jumper it off like i have been, i should feel something

Maybe try rigging up a vtec light to see if it is working? Maybe its just the lame vtec of the D? :P

The RPM switch i have has a green light to let me know it sent power to the source. So when the green light comes on the solenoid is open. I have done it when idling and nothing happens. It idles exactly the same way on or off

What do you mean by hotwire? If you mean jumper the power wire to the solenoid wire with a paper clip, then yes i have done. Ive done it at idle and it didnt idle differently, and i have done it at 6,000RPM and no difference, and i have left it on until 6,000RPM and no difference. Read original post for detail about what i did.

i am trying to say did u try to jump it off the battery instead of the rpm switch or anywhere else

yea i have bought a new VTEC solenoid, and still no VTEC. and no i havent tried it off the batery.....but i did jumper it off a 12V source. So thats just like the battery.
