i guess i will chime in. i currently own an 88 323 gt. now the 4dr turbo sedan was only made in 1988. the gtx awd turbo in 88 - 89. the mercury capri XR2 from 1991 - 1994 used the same turbo motor, the non xr2 used the same dohc minus the turbo. the B6T is a straight swap in 86-89 323, tracer, 91-94 capri, festiva, and mx-3.
the mx3 came with the dohc in 94 - 95, and must use those mounts for any year prior.
the b6t in stock form makes 132 hp and 136 tq. a non turbo version of the b6t was used in the 90-93 miata.
the 90 - 94 protege lx/ 91-96 escort gt came with a 1.8L dohc BP (same in the 94-95 miata, but diff ignition). there was also a turbo version called the BPT that had 180hp in stock form. the bp/bpt will swap into all the cars mentioned. this is the swap most the mazda guys are doing now.
the b6t is noce but the bpt has much much more potential.
