Some progress pics, (Updated)

Well I finally got the camera out and decided to take some pics of what I've been working on.

Today I was at Josh's (bumbleZC) house and picked up my block because I needed to do some measurements and make sure my ls intermediate shaft will fit this engine/tranny combo, sure enough it does.

This is a freshly painted B16A with a 98 GSR transmission, there are no internals in the engine yet except for the crank, I'm waiting on forged pistons, I installed DSM 450CC injectors today as well.

Here are some pics, I'll update this post tomorrow with some pics of the car, this time I'm using a Nikon so they wont be as shitty as the last pics I posted.

This is howthe Krinkle paint came out, not bad looks just like stock.

Everything was kinda piled in to the corner of my room, here you can see the DSM injectors,

You can see that chrysler T3, not a big turbo but should get me to 250hp, I was thinking of putting a T4 compressor housing on it so I can get to my 280ish goal.

(Update)

Teh Car.

1994 Civic Si Coupe.

Interior is half decent, still needs a little TLC.

Converted to a manual steering rack, ---- PS.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...3/DSCN0874.jpg
This is a must if you are planning to do the conversion, since the PS rack is thicker it has a different type of mounting than the manual rack, you will need a piece of thick and solid rubber to fit in between the PS bracket and rubber piece in it and your manual rack and the rubber piece on it.
I used a piece of silicone coupler and fit it right in between the 2 halves, it was very tight when bolting the rack on, this is guaranteed not to fail on you.
The best thing about this is it saves you alot of weight, about 50-60lbs if you take out the whole PS system, and if you take out the whole AC system along with the PS you will shave about 100'bs off the front end.

Also converted to rear disk brakes, these are trailing arms from a 93 integra I believe, overall it came out really good and took about 2 hours to do in total.

And last thing I wanna say is, NO! my car is not pink, the sky is dull with no sun and the camera lighting is off, so it appears pinkish in some parts. if you look at the front right(cars right) corner on the bottom bumper, that is the color of the whole car.

Not bad for a $400 maacoo paintob, I will be putting new 1/4's in it in a year or 2 anyway, for now its a fiberglass fix, its not like the car will ever see winter.

So yeah, that is that, I still have the black 4 door, it is my winter beater from now on. It's great having 2 cars and not having to worry about winter, the cold and salt ever again.

My next step is to get a new windscreen put in, then finish up the brakes, I need to get Hoses and lines for it.
After I get my pistons in I will finish the engine and swap it in, and the last thing I'll do is suspension/alarm before I put it out on the road.
