Walbro fuel pump, 850cc modded injectors, and IHI VF22 turbo. The turbo is used but only for 5,000 miles, the guy showed me receipts of purchase and proof on the milleage. It is the biggest bolt on IHI for the WRX, ball-bearing and capable of 450whp. They sell brand new for around 750-800 I payed $400. No shaft play whatsoever and it's cool to spin it, and see it keep spinning a few times, ball bearing action, Unlike the T3 in my civic or the factory WRX turbo.

I still need to get some EM, The guy that was going to sell me the UTEC for the car has not contacted me. We agreed on a price last week, and still nothing. As soon as I get it and install everything I will get it dyno tuned and will post some numbers.

The relief water was supposed to be free hurricane relief water and this guy was selling it in his gas station.

The last Hurricane to affect this area was 100 years ago, so I rather be here than be in the snow for 8 months. I probably won't happen again for enough time to not matter.

that my friend, looks like what my brother is going with.

my brother is going with this

http://www.incaroption.com.au/Subaru/subeng/PE1818.jpg

The PE 1818 Turbo is a high-performance turbo developed by Power Enterprise. This turbo uses IHI turbine & compressor housings and incorporates PE's custom twin-ball bearing center cartridge. This design allows the turbo to be capable of over 410+ HP (~340+whp). The PE1818 is a much more streetable turbo than the PE1820 as it features a smaller turbine housing than the PE1820. This smaller turbine housing decreases boost lag, where full boost is possible (depending on modifications and tuning) at around 4000rpm. This turbo is an excellent choice for customers who are seeking a high power turbo, but who are interested in retaining streetability and are not planning to run high boost pressures (21+ psi). This turbo is a direct bolt-on for all GC8, GDA, GDB EJ20 turbo engines.

anyways. those are some farken big injectors.

how much op you planing on runing by the end of the summer? we plan on runing about 400 hp. thats our goal. all with the stock ecu. no piggy backs or nothing. we might have to get a new clutch and some brigger breaks aswell.

i`ve read that those 850 cc mod. injector are actualyl stock STI injectors with the end cap removed.

They are actually regular wrx injectors with the capds removed. Yes. I talked to a lot of people about them, they work. No if and buts, no one has ever posted they don't, there's a lot of people using them. I think it's kind of cool you can just mod your stockers and get the same performance as the ones that cost you $400.

The tuning shop I talked to told me he could tune it with those injectors to run 21psi no problem. We'll see. I was only planning on running about 18 but what ever they can do is good.

I'm taking it to Central Florida Turbo, the sames guys of the videos on the 500hp teg and wrx from some months ago, so I'm confident in what they can do.

Kain, PE is nice, they use the same housings with their own centers for a bad ass turbo, but $$$$$$$$$$$ way too much for me. I'm hoping for high 12's traps, whatever HP takes me there I don't care. Some people call this guy a tranny breaker, too much torque. So i'll probably be upgrading my tranny soon. I was quoted 3600 for a 6speed sti, or the spec ra gear set for $1500.

The guy I got it from had a tuned map, with the same parts I'm installing, except I'm going to be running larger injectors and he was putting down 300whp in a mustang dyno, and ran a best of 12.5 with the stock clutch. I'm hoping for similar numbers

Keep me posted Dan, im looking to do a similar Upgrade. 12.5 is not bad at all with a stock clutch and 4 wheels spinning. That Turbo you got is amazing for the price
Good luck man
