went to the dunes... a bit of fun. blew up my tri-z drag racing...

my 700r rules the dunes, smokin' all the 450s, some modified, top speed is so fast with my tall paddle tires... over 80mph easily.

some damn banshees beat me up comp hill everytime, except for once when I initiated the race, that time i held them off to an even race... it was even till they hit 3rd they would pull 1-2 quad lengths on me to the top.

thats cool we only have tight sandy trails with trees everywhere and a couple of MX tracks in GA...i would love to ride over thier for a weekend....its in the NW right?

Comp hill? They have a "comp hill" in Glamis. Looks like a cool place to ride. Where is that exactly?

its around florence... the camp site with access with stayed at is called driftwood II

some people call it competition hill i guess, cause they race up it.

its 20 bucks a day to stay at the campground, you can camp on the beach but you can't ride or drive after 10pm which is homosexual

but you dont have to pay to ride or anything you need one of those lame offroad atv stickers but no one ever checks in my experience

Can't ride after 10pm? That's the best time. I LOVE night rides, which sucks because I don't have a bike equipped with good enough lights to go. I've tried all kinds of lights strapped to my helmet, fenders, handlebars....nothing works. :-\

night rides are the most fun for me. although the dunes can be dangerous if you do not see dropoffs, holes, etc...

i think every place as a comp hill haha. our dunes has a compition hill, and about a ------- name for every------- peice of sand. but not being able to ride after ten must suck, i wish our dunes was bigger because we get a lot of out of towners coming from all over washington. and it crowds it up and not sure if its the wind or all the people but the hills have got a lot smaller over the years too. definitly looks fun, i have a project buggy that im hoping to get done if i get my car sold ill have some money. i have a old oddessy fram and a yamaha 650 street bike motor.

ya kinda sucks no front suspension and just rear brakes, but i got it for 50$ so i couldnt complain, the guy also threw in 6 rear tires too haha.

no this is a different place, this is in dune city oregon (right next to florence)

the place i called you about is clatskanie oregon which is only about 30 mins from us. we should go there this weekend, there is a few lips there you can get some nice air off of, and its a really fun place w/o cops and everything

as far as i know, i have the fastest quad outa my buddies...everyone has 400s, except my buddies that only go to the dunes, then they got some pretty built banshees that would leave me behind....i am going to be dropin my car off at jasons place so it can have some fab work done to it on sunday, but i'm not sure what time....so i don't think i can go this sunday...but i should be able to ride mon-wed....we don't have any games and we get those days off...got a tourny in walla walla on thur-sun

I havent been out with the quads since my son broke his arm. We were heading out 2 weeks ago but he started throwing up all over my back seat 5 minutes from the house. He had strep and an ear infection but he still wanted to go. :S

Since Texas is all private land no one checks for ---- as far as stickers, registration, emissions goes. The land owners will yell at you from time to time for going fast in the public areas but other than that you can do what ever the hell you want. My favorit place is called "Red River Ranch". Its on the state border with OK and its 2500 acres of private land. Mostly river bed and some sand dunes but there are also miles and miles or wooded trails with blind turns, quick sand and crazy drop offs...FUN!!.

Too bad it will be too hot for the next few months to go riding :'(
