Some dude went postal where I work.
 

A family member happened to hear on the scanner that there is a guy holed up with a shotgun where I work. All the workers seem to have gotten out ok as I understand it, but they still haven't found the guy. This has been going on for at least 2 hours now. They fired him yesterday evidently.

I wasn't there, I get off at 5:00, I think he showed up between 7:30-8:00. I'll post a link if I can find one, we're not very high-tech here so I don't know. I'm in southwest Virginia. Oh, and all the rednecks around here listen to scanners.

i listen to scanners all the time, I have one pernamently mounted on my flourescent flamed Toyota Echo.

me to. I have 2 scanners. one i is a portable one, i use it when i go on road trips, and my other one is my grandpa's from way back in the day. i like scanners.

the sad part is though, and i have had a few pigs tell me, they dont talk on radio anymore they use instant messenging through ps's in there cars. >:(

Well i never told any one this but i never realy moved.The time I went MIA was because Doc made fun of me.I felt betrayed,belittled,mocked,and ofended unlike ever before.Im still seeing a phyciatrits over it.I cant sleep,I hardly even eat.....Dr.Boost your no Dr...there..I said it!Your an ------- :'( :'(

It turns out to be not that exciting. There weren't many people there at the time (only one line was running.) The guy walked in, pulled the gun from under his trenchcoat, but no shots were fired. Everyone scattered in all directions, mostly outside but a group of mexican temp workers barracaded themselves in an office. The cops showed up, after searching the place for several hours (including using a ram to open the office doors), they realized he wasn't there. They finally caught him about 1:30 this afternoon. Even though no one was hurt, some of the ones that were involved are kind of messed up, afraid to be alone, etc.
