I get what your saying but I dont think many people on here will be boosting up to 18psi i dont think. The most i heard was 15psi.

lol, yeah, and stock d series is going to handle 18 lbs like no other

My block is being built to withstand 18 psi, and will be running 9.5:1 compression you drop the compression on that b16a to 9.5:1 and you'll probably only beat me by 1-2 horsepower at the wheels.

People over rate b-series, its just because its "DOHC" that its so ------- attractive.

BTW they did a run at our dyno here... on a d16y7 and it took up to 20 psi before it finally shattered the third cylinders rod. It was making up to 300 whp. So don't tell me it can't be done

wow this post took off really fast. but i was asking between zc dohc and d16 sohc. not b series. thats not even an option right now. ive done 3 sohc setups already on my car i think ill try a zc unless i find a sohc cheap. on the drive home that ****** wouldnt stop shaking i thinkill just park it till finals are over.
