sohc or dohc opinions
i have a d16y8 w/ 68k on it. i'm gonna start piecing a kit together and was wondering what you guys think about boosting a d series with stock internals. these douchebags i call friends say that boosting a sohc is worthless they say that i should swap in a dohc first. i need pros and cons of both sohc boost and dohc boost.
p.s. if you haven't noticed i'm a noob go ahead and slam me, it'll be fun

Re: sohc or dohc opinions
---- most people that think the b series is better in all situations, most the time they are either driving a stock b or dont even have a b series motor in the first place. The d series will be entertaining and will have it's limitations just like a b, but the best part of sticking with a d is the fact that it's ------- cheap to find everything for the engine.

army doesn't pay enough for me to swap in a b series, yet. that'll wait till i get back to cali (thinkin' crvtec). "get a real clutch" whaddya mean by that? is 225-250 whp possible on stock internals?

"No tire hop, that where it counts, got the urethane motors mounts..."
Single slammer. The underdog owns. Fast, cheap, reliable. I have a y8 soon to be boosted too. This is cheap to do really. Thanks HMT!
