explanation.. the only thing that superceeds a states law is federal law.. sooo.. no one states laws superceed the laws of another state.. when a person is in said stat he/she is subject to the law of that state.. obviously that doesnt mean you can drive a non smogged oregon car in california.. but you must be visiting and not holding residence in california for a (I think its usually 2 months) period of time with out registering your car in that state you reside.

BLACK PEOPLE - Quit voting for democrats without actually realizing that they don't want to help you any more than anyone else. winning the minority vote is a joke in major politics because we all know where the vote is going.

EVERYONE - Anyone who complains about there only being a 2 party system, and then votes for one of them is a fuckn' idiot. Even if you know that your cantidate will lose, still vote for him. Voting for the guy most likely to win, and has some of the same ideas as you is what causes the two party system. I want to see 35 viable options and the one that fits best with me getting my vote.

Someone earlier said that they are leaving this country because they don't like the laws, pres ect. Little hint for ya, this is the most free country in the world. If you think that you are gonna be able to do as you please more somewhere abroad you are mistaken. People don't know how well they have it until they move somewher else.

Buzz, wrong answer. Any current political group will buy this idea up if they are from Neocon down to a few publicly deemed "liberals". They eat up all statistics that would prove modifying cars to be a harmful act.
Look at the list you added that had possible reasons for "younger generations" and think about the people that gobble those ideas up. Who was it that first wanted to limit our freedoms in music by banning things that can be created out of or for "Fame Thrill Cool Fun Anger"? Neo-con women. That should tell you that atleast Republicans are capable of denying freedoms to the people in areas that they do not understand. They wanted to take our music and turn it into their accepted version, sounds a bit like cracking down on modified cars.

Who is it that is really targeting the gaming industry now so they start controling their crazy games? Hilary Clinton, some stupid Democrat who actually gets labled a "liberal" by some nuts. There is a huge range of well-known political groups who are capable of the same act, it really don't matter anymore.

But if anything, a true liberal(ie: one you've never seen in the news) would completely contest this idea because it's limiting a market people want, a market already created and bringing a lot of growth job wise, it only hurts people when put in the wrong hands, and it's a good way to keep kids off drugs! :P I would prefer going the route of making drivers tests harder in America and raising penaltries for acts the commonly occure within the "bad group" of people who help create the percieved darkside of modifying cars(ie: everything that can fall under "reckless driving" to an extent; 17-year-old doing burnout on Main St.(bad) vs. 27-year-old going 15 over in a 75mph(bad, but understandable).

That's my rant just because you tried to call them "commie liberals" when in reality they're just religious freaks loving their good ol' morals. :P

Laws of this nature have been around for years in california but Ill tell you this I just did 2 illegal smogs on my cars no problem laws arent that tuff yet dyno smog yada yada and it was at a test only station. Cops out here arent stopping every modded car most talking in this topic proably have never been to california. The law is too stop street racing in short "window tinting, large spoilers, extra gauges or racing stickers" this is what they look for ricers who are dumbass street racers. I was pulled over about a month ago got the whats under the hood,nitrous yada yada just said it was stock lowered car no problems oh and I was pulled over for running a red pretty bad got away with a warning la county sheriff. California for you who dont know still is the heart of import racing and engine importers these laws are too make voters happy and to stop majority of street racing which I must say is dangerous after numerous times watching accidents occur at places like sylmar and lancaster. The simple rule is dont have a riced out honda with a fart can, lots of lights, and big ugly wings along with not racing in your little brohers school zone and your fine. So in short california licks ***** its just skater white dudes,mexicans, and gay smog laws but its HOME.
