So you think your honda is fast?

Probably not as fast as mine....
cbr600 fuel injected ;D
this is a prototype.. everything will be going into a 02 italkart shifter chassis once all the bugs are worked out.

Yes we will need vids.

Cool, I've always planned on doing a similar project the day I have a garage to work in...

If so, I concur.

My buick originally made 205 hp, now it makes over 1400 now that I worked it over. You guys should try it out sometime.

any front brakes?

No front brakes on this one. I am the kind of fabricator that will fab something once, then look at it and say if I could do it all over again... i could make it 10x better. so thats why i butchered up a cheap chassis.

Once the "testing" is done (ie.. clutch drops, see whats breaking, see what needs improvment) then the motor goes into this chassis.. which has front brakes. everythign will be tig welded and cromoly tube. no shortcuts...
Then the real fun begins... once its all built to perfection...
Its difficult to cut up an expensive chassis, put the motor in, and be happy with the final result without having some knowledge first.
I wont be going over 60mph with the "prototype" model anywas

Lol @ 5hp to 100hp. If you would dyno that thing, I'm pretty sure at the max it's 30hp... that's what Ricky Ritter gets out of his Briggs Animals after doing some "working over." BTW Ritter is tech certified in kart racing, that means that if one of his motors is in a winning kart it doesn't need to be taken apart and inspected by officials. He's a local guy (Winchester) I've talked to about building a Briggs flathead twin for my race mower, and he says at the max 5hp's get 30ish.
