So What's Next...?
 

Okay so I have the turbo and I'm absolutly loving it and CAN'T be happier thanks to everyone. Now my question is....What next? What little things can be done to squeeze out more power, better times, etc. Something's are obvious like bigger turbos, slicks, and cams, but what about a little more subtle changes. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should look into getting next as an upgrade? I'm mostly looking for little things unknown to me not really swaps and hybrid turbos. Thanks! ;) ;D

Well if you want better times, traction is always key. So maybe some decent suspension setup and traction bars with some slicks.

id focus on suspension, putting all the power to the ground is better then raising the boost

I actually have my stock rims back on with dedicated winters on the front and thought about selling my rims and find good streets to go on my 14s. This is what I found:

Those are junk tires.Get some Falken Azenis they are great tires and cheap to.If I were you I would start saving money for LSD,traction bars etc.Power is useless if you have no traction.

LSD sounds promising. Pricy though. I found other tires that were $12 cheaper and 500 AA A with 8.8 out of 10 dry traction rating. Those got a 9 out of 10.

maybe if you post your setup we could nitpick on what to tweak. but tires definatly make a huge differance. you usually get what you pay for in tires.

it will this week . sometimes you have to have a little down time to come up with a setup that will make real horsepower. i have had 3 cars now that would have owned the ---- out of your setup and this would be the second setup in my teg that would own you.

the fact that it doesnt move right now means nothing. that because the b series with forged internals is being assembled.

on second thought, the best mod for that slow trap would be a molotov cocktail.

oh and btw, this is what a d series should look like. this is old hat though, i was running this 2 yrs ago.

hey rex,
i see that youre an ss auto chrome tester. ya got a thread on the products that youre testing. i got one of those t3/4 kits. looks like the bearrings are wayy to tight which whould explain thier longevity rumors. im goind to rebuild it and have it rebalanced to give it a real test. just curious if youre testing anything similar. post a link or pm me if ya got some info

pm abaz about the ssautochrome turbos.

hes been running 3 of them lately i think. i am working on the wastegate right now, i havenot yet used a ssautochrome turbo.
