so what do you think about the c4s?
 

well my moms boyfriend is looking into getting a porsche. we found a 1996 carrera 4S the awd model with the turbo body style but no turbo motor. the thing is MINT. its so sexy. black on black. 40k miles. its $44,000 bux. we are going to test drive it friday. we cant decide if its worth looking into the mid 80s turbo models. they are about the same hp and i think the same amount of money. the c4s makes like 282hp and 252tq. not bad. my mom likes the awd so they can drive it in the snow and ----. what do you guys think?

i'd get the 96' over the mid 80s' porche. an older porsche is a headache.

I would get the AWD so it handles better not to drive it in the snow...Pound that point on your mom

im not saying that. she says that if youre gonna have a porsche, you should drive it. most people just drive em on nice days. the awd will be better in the the snow then the rwd. im not talking about 5 feet on snow, im saying like 1inch or something. plus im sure they will buy another set of wheels for snow tires

yea def. get snow tires, because when an awd car breaks loose in the snow, all four let loose pretty much and you are just sliding like a mofo (at least thats how my vr4 was)...still very fun if you get the hang of it
