and he thinks he's all hard ---- because he has a '90 civic hatch at his house, with a si trans, and a built zc with reciepts, and wants to run an evo 16g. tried telling me that he's going to run 30psi and a big ass door sized intercooler. i just lol'd, he paid 2k for a car that doesnt run. :1 :8

yes but if you use a little reading comprehension youll see that hes saying the dildo with the hatchback wants to put a 16g on the ZC. 8)

That engine is completely built from top to bottom, Jon. Might want to look into the engine specs.

he hasn't even heard of hmt, ht, or any honda site for the most part. some off-name brand for the pistons, and claims its eagle rods. i told him sell that ----, buy vitaras and tt rods. he just kinda looked at me, and started going on about 30psi being ready for boosting or something.

you already know hes a retard if he wants to run a 16g and wants to push it to 30psi. 300* charge temps FTW.

Yeah, turbo definitely can't push 30psi efficiently at all........

At best the compressor is at 68% efficiency and thats assuming he can maintain 200 F Intake Temps.

thats hilarious, because the ------- motor was never in that car until this kid bought it, much less it was an n/a swap, with no turbo, exhaust, manifold, charge piping, etc. you'd post it if you were smart

first he never stated which "evo" turbo. evo 3? evo 8? evo9? i was assuming evo 3 because thats what most people use.

thats an evo 9 turbo, 16G6, and at 30psi its is NOT efficient. if you think 65% is efficient your retarded. your also assuming its going to flow 580cfm (irrelevant) at a 2.0 PR. thats also retarded.

so what was your point again?

anyone who dd's a ford probe, talks about lovefab manifolds, and has curly afro hair doesn't deserve a turbo honda.

So you guys think that when these guys are pushing 850whp out of a GT42r at high pressure ratios, their compressor efficiency is 78%? I'll tell you in advanced, it's not. Hello, mid to low 60's! I used to think pressure efficiency was key. I was dead wrong. Flow is way more important. Intercoolers take care of compressor efficiency or lack there of. If the pressure and flow number land on the compressor map and aren't near the surge limit on either side, it's plenty efficient enough to go fast. Everything else is just nonsense. If you went by compressor maps, GT35r's are perfectly efficient on b18c1 engines at 10psi. But when you go out into the real world, they have lazy throttle response and spool 1000rpm too late. Magically when you throw a GT30r, the damn car makes more power just about everywhere, runs better times, and responds like a healthy car should meanwhile compressor efficiency is not as preferred as the GT35r. Flow is king.

useable power is the name of the game.

the 1k powerband supra style roll racer not the best for stop light to stop light or drag strip

You don't even know what you're talking about. The damned thing was turbo at one point, pulled out then built, then turbo ---- was sold, NA ---- was put on, and he sold it since he got the skyline. This was jesse's old car.

you have no proof to back your ---- up for the 3rd post in a row, ------- post something provable.

say i made half of that ---- up. every ricer raves about 16g's, jdm zc's, and 90 civic hatches.

prove that i made it up, you can't. you can't prove that it's true either :D O0 :8 ;)

I think he included the manifold with the cars sale, and it was made for a twin scroll 16g. and its a dohc zc :P

its on the net somewhere. I didnt believe the kid either til I saw the build.

go find it. im going to force this kid to produce proof of the car, and it's contents, along with make him pull his pan and verify eagle rods are installed, with a 3500psi pressure washer aimed at his face.

Eh, I found it when Jesse had his skyline for sale on craigslist, I found the site through his photobucket name, and its not for sale anymore so I cant find it.
