Are they any better than a stock dual core? I need one for my 2.0 A20 accord project, im looking to make 450whp-500whp or so... suggestions? Comments? |
Re: so talk to me about ebay civic halfsize radiators
I picked up a cheap single core with plastic endtanks over 2 years ago off ebay for around $50, haven't had a single problem with it yet.

do the caps leak on them and spit all over or do you just smell it once in a while or somthing

Re: so talk to me about ebay civic halfsize radiators
they all look the same, except for the last one actually using a Honda coolant drain verse the homo brass old school ones...
my buddy just bought one from RSMACHINES on Honda-Tech... ill take a look at his when it gets in, and evaluate it... then probably buy one myself... and paint it black O0 |

Re: so talk to me about ebay civic halfsize radiators
I bought an ebay one a while back, 2.5" core bar and plate design. So far it's worked flawlessly, but I thought the lower than stock pressure cap was a little weird...only like .9 bar instead of the standard 1.1 bar. Mine looks like it would be a bitch to find a replacement cap though, but keep an eye on the cap rotation on those rads. A well built rad should have the cap tabs run parallel to the rad, unlike mine where they fucked up and put them at a 90* angle. :P
