so my roomate got a free car...
for a ------- tip while delivering pizza. w... t... f...
anyway, it's a 91 mazda mx3 with the 1.8l v6, needs a new trans, but the motor runs fine.its automatic and he wants to put a manual trans in, all i can think of that he might need extra is the ecu, shiftlinkage and shiftlever, and maybe a new trans mount. anyone have experience with these??? btw hes such a bastard. i can barely get three or four dollars for a tip let alone a gd car |
Re: so my roomate got a free car...
i belive there are 2.5 v6 and 1.8 L4s. 1.8 v6 would rev up pretty high :l
THye shares the same motor with the mx6 v6 and ford probe. I`d throw in a auto tranny then sell it just to make some $$ |

There's a guy on here, that had one with the Probe V6 dropped in, spinning a Holset. He was making like 400WHP on the stock block or something. I havn't seen him post in a while.

Re: so my roomate got a free car...
All I remember also is that their tiny as v6. They don't share the same engines as the probe/mx6. Actually the 4 cylinders in the probe mx6's were larger in displacement then the V6 if I remember correctly also.
