Wy wife had been on the pill for quite awhile and she talked to the doctor and switched to the patch. I can't remember if she missed any periods or not, but after that first year she went pack for her anual exam. The doctor pulled her off the patch and went back to the pill. I guess several of the people the docotr had been seeing ended up pregnant and were using the patch properly. It's not as strong a doseage as the pill and the way the doctor put it, if you're over 110-120pounds, you better stay on the pill as the pathc isn't as effective...just a little FYI!

ok supposely wen your chick in on a form of birth control their period isnt even real, like its not getting rid of anything, it just has a bloody discharge, no lining or anything, and it can just not happen depending on the girl. i was told this when the same thign was happening to my girl friend a couple months ago after she read up on it.

"The Pill" is very effective and I trust it.. however I dont trust all chicks, thats why I think the Shot is really the best way to go. You never have to worry about the chicks missing the pills, or the patch not working right. Girls are crazy and you never know if they may just "want" a ------- baby.. atleast with the shot you can go with her and see it happen. I know several people that use the "shot" Depo-Provera, supposivly it works up to 3 months.
