heres a quote straight from that site:

Just curious, do you know if the patch is this way, i didnt find anything about it on that site? At any rate I would still preffer to play it safe and give it some time, but thats just me

If you apply your first patch within five days after the start of your period, you are protected immediately.

If you apply your first patch more than five days after the start of your period, use another method of birth control if you have vaginal intercourse during the first week — protection will begin after seven days.

i talked to a friend of mine and she said that when she first started bc, that month she did start her period about 4-5 days late. im probably just being paranoid, just one of those things that sit in the back of our head and dont go away. i appreciate all the help guys, its helping my mind rest a little more easy.
