I used to work in a body shop all through high school, the way you tell if your car is not straight.....
there are holes, in the fender under the hood where the bolts are (where the hood shuts onto) there is one hole at the top by where the fender comes close to the door and the window(a pillar) and there is a hole down by the corner light on both fenders. you measure diagnoly and accross, and they should match up, by going diagnolly and going accross. I will try to make a diagram and post what I am talking about....

wow, that really sucks. hopefully you can repair that ----, that car was really nice to ride in. did you ever figure out what the hell that noise was that you though was the v-band bolt?

lol yeah i fixed my exhaust that morning. Anyway, the front of the frame is worse than it looks int he pictures. Both front fenders bow out like the car has fender flares or some ----, and the frame folded downwards. The radiator's top half is sitting on about a 3rd of the way through the turbo, and the lower half of the radiator including all that other bullshit down there are pushed all the way back to the oil return nipple on the oil pan.

I already got a police report, called insurance, and all that ----. Right now, i'm in the process of getting reciepts for everything so i can get paid by insurance. The shitty part is, I need a reciept for a turbo, an intercooler, and a TiAL wastegate now since i traded ---- to get all 3 of those. I am planning on calling my lawyer in the morning with all the pictures and ---- to see what we can do. I guess there was a sign that said the road drops off into dirt, though, so I don't know what i can do. No sign for the hole that fucked me over though, that may be my key.

Oh yeah, the cops came by this morning and dropped me off my citation for "careless driving," 4 points. Asswads.

EDIT: forgot about my exhaust....need a reciept for that ---- too since it was a private sale. ----.

2 bolts will take that sign out, or pull the sign out of the ground, post and all.
dont wear your shoes(or get rid of the ones you will wear to go do this) and wear gloves.

Ummmm....OMG I don't know if I would have handled that. Holy ----, I would have ended up in handcuffs by the end of that conversation. That is some seriously fucked up bullshit. Careless driving for hitting a ------- hole in the middle of the ------- city streets?? Are they serious? How can you call that careless? That's like getting struck by a meteor and getting arrested for disturbing the peace when your bones break and make loud noises. Wow, that really pisses me off and I have nothing to do with it.

That ---- pisses me off too. Cops are ------- jerks, tell your lawyer all that ----. Go back to the place where you wrecked and take a million pictures. If there was a sign, try to prove that you couldnt see it, if its possible. Also show them that little part they half-assed repaired.
