That's some halfass ----. The city needs to be paying for that ----.
Something like that happened out here. They had this fucked up pohole down town that actually stuck out of the ground. Some dude with a lowered truck drove over it and it smashed his oil pan into his crank and fucked his ---- up. The city bought him a new motor and fixed the pothole.

you have the photo evidence...call the city or county (depending on whose jurisdiction) and get them to pay.
similar to georgia, except they love to dig up the road for no apparent reason and just put a thick steel plate over it. it's like hitting a curb. people bend rims all the time.

I say talk to the county, tell them to pay up to fix the car, get extimates, take the estimates to them, do just like an insurance company would do. Get 3 estimates, average them, and take it to the county or wherever. Then write an article in the news paper. Also, give them a reasonable deadline. 2 weeks
this could turn out to be a good thing!-tell the shops to over-estimate it. and add in a rental car to, you gotta get to work! -it works where I live!
I know it doesnt matter, but how fast were you going?
also, a good argument, you drive a FWD car. Most people know, its hard to loose control in a FWD car.

Considering how far back that turbo is pushed back that car will never drive straight again. I had my cousin who was driving with like a flashlight and he ran straight up into a curb the front end looked exactly like that and the oil pan was fucked. When he got it pretty straight the steering wheel was still off center and still wanted to pull right when just cruising and on highway. Automatic right turning he used to call it

my integra front end was 10 folds worse that streetking's....they had to CUT the whole shyt off from behind the shock tower, and weld on a new front end.
they straighten it first with a laser machine, then they cut off the front and welded on the new frame. my car drive perfectly st-8, does not pull at all on the highway.
