So I rattle canned my car white last week.....
Turned out better than i hope..............but still looks like crap
First of all i'd like to comment on the front end conversions and taillight conversions......yes, i know they shouldn't be done but this was back in the days (01) of big fat double-decker wings on top of hatches so compared to that, i don't think this is so bad....
BEFORE:
AFTER:
ENGINE SHOTS:
So the magical ingredients are:
Sand with 320 grit paper, 2 coats of of primer followed by wetsanding, 3 coats of White paint, the third coat of white really made it look nice and even....and last 2 coats of clear.
Cost: About $150 for shitloads of rattlecans, bondo, fiberglass, and other misc. supplies.
Oh yah, i molded my front lip because it got hit on the freeway by a frisby( or something that looked like it) and my lip just cracked in half. So i was sanding down the fiberglass and MAN! that ---- is hard to sand!......halfway through sanding i got lazy and just painted over it even though its still very much uneven.

one expensive rattle can job, but it looks hekka better than before. Nice job, oh and the taillight conversion is an interesting one. If you had some inners to match the outters, it wouldn't look so bad. The different "plastics" kill it, maybe some painted altezzas :P

Hey it looks better then it did so thats all that counts. The only gripe i got is you should just take the 92-95 lights out and put blanks in there ans then paint it all or fit the newer style in there. Other then that its better then most cars that run around here. Damn high school punks thinking they are the fastest ---- out here and its just the fart can on the back thats makes them believe they are speeding
