that i forgot that i had. it's a model AB, made from 1936-1949. 3hp@2600rpm. magneto ignition, horizontal shaft. cast iron block. 13.5ci/220cc

anyone ever play with one of these or know anything about em? other than whats typed above. i think itll make a nice project engine :1

dunno. i need to overhaul the magneto, it ran at one point but its full of gunky ----. either that or ill make up some sort of points for it and let it waste spark like all the small 4stroke engines do

I just get the resident "Old guy" at work to deal with people asking for Wisconsin parts. Same goes for all pre-WWII farm equipment.

i like going to antique power shows where they got those old motors just banging away for the hell of it. ask old farmers as they tend to know the most about that kind of stuff

ab99-b-1, ab is the model, the rest i can't figure out or find somewhere that explains the coding.

it was FULL of water, yet is ------- rust free internally. i guess 70 year old engine gunk is one hard bitch

looks like i can do some port work to clean em up, shave a little off the head, and deck the block to bring the piston up flat. 7:1 comp now, maybe ill see 9:1
