BTW, sick car. 2003 is a good year. I believe still the only year where all options are standard.

The X is a worthless pile of ----. They dropped the 4g63 platform for an aluminum head/block, open deck piece of crap. Plus the car is ugly as ----

Word? That's quite possibly the faggotiest thing I've heard today. Why do car companies nowadays think degrading the powerplant (or putting in a subpar powerplant to boot) and tossing it into a next generation car that looks like someone took a ---- then tried putting it back in their *** is going to boost their sales? :1

You're talking Cusco/Spoon as compared to a stock suspension though. Well built suspension parts on more than likely a properly dialed in car...which is a rarity on Honda's stateside, at least where I live. I'm sure with a properly dialed in set of Ohlin's or Zero Sports suspension it would really rip through corners.

Thanks for the links, I started researching the evolutionm forum last night, some good stuff on there.

If I wanted a car with problems I'd buy a 06-08 Passat with a 2.0T, where at around 10k the wheel bearings start to fail, the pvc breather swallows all the oil and screams like a bitch as it tries to swallow the motor an turbo as a whole. Not to mention the failure rate of the varriable valve AC compressors, oh an lets not forget the highpressure fuel pump driven off the cam that eats the cam follower and the pump itself, oh an the intake runner motor that fails but fixes itself only to fail again. Coils that let standing water sit in the sparkplug tube that corrode the coils an fry the ecm but still yet, the ecm works enough to make the car driveable, just throws BS codes...

Sometimes, I really do hate working for VW...

Lol, you'd probably feel the same way if you broke something major every 2-3 months.
After talking to a few guys locally and with Buscher, my goal of 350awhp really isn't that far off. Looks like for around $3500 I can do it and keep total reliability of the car in the process, this ought to be fun
