Thanks guys! I know it's not a fast car, but for stock it's quick enough to still be fun and to actually have torque numbers that's the same as hp is even better where I live lol. The clutch issues I'm pretty well aware of, as I had to "help" (interpret as me doing all the work :P) my friend's change the clutch in their '06 evo9 mr. They definitely do suck to replace, and it's bullshit that Mitsu themselves won't warranty the clutch even though they know it's a huge problem on these cars.
The handling is pretty much what sold me on it, and even compared to the '06 WRX TR I test drove I think the Evo out performed it through corners (it was great seeing the sales guy grabbing for things to hold on to and white knuckled ). Yeah, the factor of payments kinda sucks, but after 2 days of driving it I definitely say it's worth it.

Thanks for that link JD, I'm going to do some research into that tactrix cable and see what's going on, it could serve dual-purpose for both the Evo and the WRX.

Good luck with it. I use to work at a mitsu dealer and they were in and out of the shop more than any of the other cars. Was probably also because of people hot rodding the ---- out of them ALL the time.. :1

I had looked at them before. They are definitely nice and feel good to drive. After doing a lot of research decided against it. Way to much BS for what it has to offer.
