I bought a turbocharger off Taikaparts on ebay, everythign seemes legit 99% feedback and over 3400 transactions. well he never sent it and paypal cant get my money back. he's no longer registered with ebay and I cant reach him.

okay if you paid with credit card linked to paypal then call the card company.. 48 hours later your money is in.. Now if you paid with debit then its a little trickier.. But hey people get there card numbers stolen online all the time.. Call and let them know you never made that transaction.. You didnt hear it from me **** puffer.

everything I do with paypal is credit card funded, when I file a claim I also file with the card. Same ---- everytime from paypal, sorry we cannot get your money I hope this doesn't inconvenence you, two weeks later guess what........ moneys home and you get a nasty letter from paypal about them not accepting credit card callbacks and that they have there own system for help Thanks paypal.......... *******

Well, I just got fucked out of $416 by someone doing a chargeback, but it sounds like you havea legitimate reason, so I say go for it.

Paypal is a piece of ---- and I try to avoid using it.

I got fucked by someone who did a 200 dollar chargeback in october.. If I ever take paypal payments then it will only be from a bank account.. When you do there0 "upgrade" so you can accept someones credit card.. Your ------- doomed.. Someone can do a chargeback up to six months later.. On the chargeback the ---- did to me,, exactly 2 1/2 months later the bitch says she never got it.. Bullshit.

You can downgrade after you do the upgrade btw. I did it, bunch of BS that they force you to upgrade. I can't wait for an alternative...

How do you downgrade? They made me upgrade to a business account and I don't like taking credit cards and all that crap. Actually, I never finished the process to be a business member...but I am anyway. I'm assuming you have to go through a ton of bullshit to get downgraded.

Google Checkout is an alternative, but according to doug684 (I haven't tried it) ebay blocks you from putting it as an accepted payment. I think he had to spell it "groogle" so ebay would let him list. I've heard bad things about Google Checkout as well though...

1) Login to your Paypal account
2) Click on 'Contact Us'
3) Under 'Help by Email' click 'Contact Customer Service'
4) On the left panel, click on either 'Getting Started' or 'My Account Profile'
5) On the right panel, click 'Downgrade Account'
6) Under Summarize your question state 'I want to Downgrade to a Personal Account'.
7) Follow through from there.

I did this and so did stenseltizm and ours were both downgraded the next day.
