so i failed emissons today
 

well CT hasnt had emissions testing for the past like 4 years or whatever. and today i went to register my hatch. turns out that all cars from 2000 or so and under have to have the emissions tested. so i went to do that and failed horribly. the CO limit is 1.07 and mine was 12.9. the ------- indian retard over heated my car. he was trying to get an rpm signal and hooked it up to my battery for some reason. ------- idiot. he stalled it 3 times tryin to get it on the rollers and then 2 more times while it was on it. then he sat there at 3k in second gear for 5minutes and overheated it. he was like"your leaking coolant. i was like no ---- idiot." but i got my car registered now so i can drive. we are gonna finish tunning the boost maps on friday and ill have pics up then too

i dont plan on it. i jsut needed to get my cars VIN verifyed cause i bought it in indiana, and they said that my VIN will be on the emissions sticker, so i thought i could kill to birds with one stone :P

If it is anything like the west coast cali/vegas you are a gross polluter and have to see a state ref to register/drive the car. Not good.

They have an emission machine for the state but Mike could lean it way out on the dyno first. Just a thought.

well i wasnt completely tuned either so im sure it was rich
once i get it tuned im gonna go back and see if i pass. if not i wont do it till they send me something to do it. but ill check it out. the guy thats tunning my car has a crx thats boosted and he passed so im sure we can fix it

damn Jordan that sucks. so what they tell you, do you have to spend a certain amount of money on the car to get it legalized?

well, they didnt really do anyhting, they just gave me the paper that said i failed. there is an option for the owner to fix it so im gonna do that, and say i replaced the o2 sensor or something.

No emissions in NE PA 8), theyd have a little bit of trouble hooking up the sniffer to my open downpipe anyway :D
