lets face it. you gotta honda, you hate neons. People who own srt-4s buy them for reliability and they can say there car is fast without doing any major work. most srt-4 owners dont know ---- bout cars. thats why they buy them. if they knew anythign about them they would build up a car. not buy one..

A neon with lsd (after 03), and a stout 2.4L motor that comes factory turbod with already a good aftermarket for them. And the seats are nice. That's like saying that a turbo gsr civic hatch is gay because the "Civic" name along with your neighbors rusted to ---- 89 dx sedan.

I personally like the srt-4. Bang for the buck compared to all the other cars it's trying to compete with (evo8/9, wrx sti) I'd say the srt-4 takes the cake. People ---- on the neons because it's a dodge product, but when you look at dodge's line-up over the past 20 years, they've made more turbo cars stock than any other company out there. I've read articles and reports over the past few years of the 2.4 motors making an extreme amount of power...on a completely stock bottom end. They handle very well for a street car, and the fact that you can upgrade your turbo/injectors/ecu and keep your factory warranty is def. a plus. I think it boils down to a couple things...personal preference in a vehicle, and whether or not you can afford it. Face it guys...most of the people I know hate on the srt-4 just for the simple fact they can't afford to buy one :P
