the easiest way to tell the srt4 is badass for its class is how many honda, nissian, mazda, acura, toyota owners its pissed off

well there is your problem. Who the hell would buy a civic off the lot. That is the point of working with them. Simplicity, price, weight ect. Nothing to do with MSRP.

Your logic still isn't great. 14K leaves you 6K. You would pay 6k for 2-3 seconds? :1

depends on which 3 seconds it is.

17 down to 14 is not worth that. 13 down to 10 now you are getting diminishing returns on street cars.
