my little brother has an 86 mr2 with 89k and it's pretty cool. He blew his motor in the fall and got another one and rebuilt it. that car is ------- horrible to work on. pulling and putin the engines was real gay. not room. i'm also surprised that it was never really that fast for a 1.6 dohc. people said this engine was real sweet but i guess it's ok since it's almost 20 ------ years old.
