how bout i been listenin to jazz latley, and been starting to liek it mroe and more, kinda weird, but musically its killer...the guitars, the rythum, the bass, brass section, drums, everything. I dont really like it with singning tho, just instrumental. sorry i felt the need to share, kinda a music nut, maybe theres other closet jazz fans too 8)

yeah im listenin to Boney James, 2:01am, pretty cool song, great sax solos...because if you break it down, there is ALOT of jazz influence in todays music, i noticed it in some old school incubus songs, like anti-gravity love song...

and i love sleepin to jazz, smooth and mellow. i have launchcast and just play the jazz station all nite, pretty nice

You just found out one of most important things to know if you're a musician. Everything, in some form, has a relationship with another "type" of music. Gotta love it. I love music theory, and that's one of the big concepts you have to digest. I play bass locally for a few jazz groups and I must say, it's a lot of fun.

I tried a lil experiment on myself awhile ago and went to sleep listen to different music and the dreams I would have since I would just put them on repeat for the whole night. Try it out. It's kinda cool. I have weird dreams if I fall alseep with the TV loud enough for it to be understandable but not loud enough where it keeps me up. I used to listen to alot of Jazz but I nothing like Al Green. He's not jazz but that fucker is just plain relaxing and good baby making music or cruising ----. It's cool pulling up to younger people with it playing in my car and there faces are like WTF!
