Sprint/Nextel suck ***. Their service is ---- and they have bad reception. I owe them $400 because I terminated my contract early due to thet fact that I couldnt get a phone signal inside my house. Not one ------- bar! I had to walk out side or it sounded like who ever I was talking to on the P. to P. was under water. ---- them and their service!

Tmobile and Verizon FTW!
Man you guys are lucky you haven't had any problems with Cingular (er "The New AT&T"). I have had them twice and had NOTHING but problems with them. Any of my friends that had them had problems with them also. Jorsher on here worked for them in the customer service dept along with my other roommate and they will tell you how shitty they are. Most of the customer service people their wouldn't even get the service even thought they got a discount.
First time I had them I signed up and they had free incoming calls for $10 extra a month. I double checked with the sales person and they said sure enough any incoming calls were free with it. I snatched it up and tell nogs to call me. I get my first bill and it was $4xx.xx. I was so pissed I called them up and they were like well you went over your minutes by x. So I start arguing back and forth and say screw it I'll go back to the store. I go back in and talk to the same guy who sold me the phone. He calls them up after looking at my bill and says no he is supposed to have free incoming calls....next thing I hear (speaker phone) "umm...we don't offer that" WTF! I still had the ------- broceure!!! They would not give me credit for anything, neither would a supervisor. I said ---- you guys and disconnected the line.
Last time I had them I get a bill for almost $300. It says minutes used 400 (I had 600 anytime), minutes over used like 300 something. I was like uh wtf that makes no sense. I call them up and they said that even though I was in my calling area that I was bouncing off a Verizon tower. So I was like ok...is that roaming? "yeah".... I have free roaming. "Yes this is true, but only on our towers". I was in my calling area, you guys "cover" almost the entire state. I was in one of the largest cities in the state which is the city you guys said I was have perfect service and the city I signed up/live in. "Yes, but it wasn't our tower". Well is there anyway to know what tower I am using. "Unfortunatly not at this time". Why did you guys not state this in the contract? "It does say in the contract a extra fee can be used if you are roaming using another carriers tower". That's when I got pissed and asked if they would give me a credit...nope. They wouldn't do ----. Said ---- it, disconnected service. Let the stupid ******* send me to collections and made a deal with the collections company to only pay part of the bill. I will NEVER have Cingular again.

I also agree that Tmobile and Verizon are above everyone else by a longshot. I had a tmobile plan then switched to cingular (added a line to parents account) and now have tmobile again. The first time with tmobile, their customer service was unbelievably good. Any reason I needed to call them they would give me credits on my account for my time and inconvienence. Nowadays, no credits but also in my experiences, a pretty competent staff.
That verizon tower deal is a complete cop out. Cingular uses GSM, old AT&T used TDMA, Verizon uses CDMA. All different cellular technologies that are not compatible with each other. For example, GSM phone is not gonna be able to get on verizon towers.
