So I have been offered the oportunity of a lifetime. My dad's friend's wife is making a drifting video for the sundance music festival. It is featuring all the pros... and she wants me to be in it too to show that anyone can drift. I have a 240sx sitting on my side yard right now with no engine. The problem is that I have to have the car FULLY OPERATIONAL on the 10th... 9 days. almost all my ---- is in the mail, but I don't know if i have enough time. I'm still in high school right now, so I have less than 9 days. If I have my car ready they'll pay for me to go to drifting school, give me a brand new set of falken or yokohoma tires, and put me in the video. I just don't know if it will be ready.

If anyone lives in the bay area and wants to help put a 240 together.. (help, not learn). I am begging for help. come on over some time this week and help me install my ----. I neeeeeeddddd it ready.

just put the stock engine back in and call it a day. that would show that you dont need to have a zillion HP teh drif t also

incase u forgot he bought it with a blown engine? if i remember right haha... man goodluck but its possible. i took my ---- apart converted it to 5spd and put in a new engine in like 2 days. iono bout learning how to drift in 9 days tho. that's a life long skill needed to be learned over time and practice.

good call on the spun bearing... ya. that engine is gone... it also got some whip cream in the i/m from an experimental nos experiment. I won't have a zillion horsepower with this motor for the event.. it's built for turbo, but i dont have the money or time to turbo it in 9 days. and it doesn't matter i suck at drifting.. it's a clinic!!!! they teach you how to drift, and supposedly a bunch of pros have come out of this clinic.

you can't fix an engine with a spun bearing? I thought some machining and new bearings and it was good to go?

this motor was about to explode.. i beat the ---- out of it with the bearing still gone. it's dead dead dead

wohoo. someone on a different forum had the idea of just renting someone elses 240 for the day and promising to pay for any damages. good idea.

thats a nice way of getting rid of idiots very very fast. while people in rx7's shun this ---- people with 240's praise it. just remember, if your going to hit a guard rail, make shure you keep your foot planted on the gass and go through it and </yourself>

are you thick? it says that it's a ------- clinic.. in clinics they teach you how to drift. no guard rails, and proper instruction.
