Ok, so we planned to head out to Carlsbad this Saturday, but I'm hearing that some people won't be making it becuase of schedules, helmets required for all racers, ect..... What are we going to do???
So I offer you this solution:

WHO: Street legal drag racers, spectators and media

WHAT: NHRA Street Legal Drag Racing Dragway.

WHEN: Saturday, April 10th

WHERE: California Speedway, 9300 Cherry Avenue, Fontana

The quarter-mile California Dragway is located in Parking Lot 1 behind the speedway's main grandstands.

TIME: Tickets go on sale and Tech Inspection begins at 2 p.m. For early arrivals, a holding area in Parking Lot 2 will open at Noon with admission sales starting at 2 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. All activities will conclude at 11 p.m.

COST: For participants and fans, the price is $10 per person to enter the speedway and $10 for race participants to purchase a Tech Card ($20 total for racers).

I know Raffi was looking forward to a local strip, but I just don't know how many people will be able to make it. Everyone post up with what will work for you guys so that we can get a good meet going. We have recently had alot of new installs, so it'd be nice to see all of them run.

---- i wish i could roll this weekend but steve i have to review for finals... that and my motor is half past dead... with its blown headgasket and warped ass head... cause its been over heating... Guess 11psi and the fact that its been raped repeatedly didnt help... but no worry gonna pick up a Z6 long block for 200 on sat... and dropping that ---- in as soon as im done with finals....

its not the boost that killed it... it was the little nitrous mishaps i had a few months back... that just fucked it up... so its not enjoying boost all too well... i get a nice run on it... but then it starts to overheat right away... even with a big ass 2in thick aluminum radiator and aftermarket fan... so im swaping engines as soon as I can...

damn steve... my engines not even out yet and "you" already got plans for it????... hmmm so much for my plans....

hey steve-o. im not trying to make it convenient for myself. im just trying to get the center of cali so the norcal and socal members can meet up in one place. instead of one driving farther than the others. well not in my case since its right there :P. haha me and 15 other buddys will be running at battle. and most of those 15 people are from orange county fools. so come to battle. i believe its july 12. if they can drive so can u. hahaha..

woohoo.... Finally got a spare motor... its a D15Z1.... 1.5 SOHC VTEC-E.... yeah i know it sucks but its just a temp till i rebuild my old engine up..... gonna drop it in this weekend.. anyone wanna come by feel free to do so... oh yeah... oh yeah... of coarse it has to be boosted,... hopefully it should hold for a while...

im telling you fools come to famoso June 12. shiet hahaha. thats a saturday i believe and it gives a lot of people time to work on their cars and get the weekend off. and i got my car boosted today. haha. its not what i expected. charge pipe blew off. i thought it was funny. my car sounds like a diesel truck.

hell yeah..... just got back fromm my little trip to south central LA..... went to go pick up a complete D16Z6 engine and tranny of a 95ex... shits a bit dusty, but everything is there.,,,,intake, manifold ,dizzy, starter, alternator, harness... blah blah blah.... all for 300 bucks...

gonna swap that bitch out friday night....

ill get out of work by 2(hopefully) ill try to make it...
