A few years ago I smoked cigs for a while and quit cold turkey no problem. I started again about 8 months ago, and so far its been a BITCH to stop. I'll quit for a couple days, then the thought that "one more won't hurt" and the thought of that great buzz after you don't smoke for a couple days...along with dreams of finding packs of cigs...get to me and I slip up. My parents hate it because I bitched at them years and years to stop, my mom finally did, and now I puff away.
I've only bummed 2 in the past 2 days...lets see how long before I slip up.
As far as pot, it's the only thing I see worth smoking (other than DMT).

Everyone I've known that has started doing hookah "just for fun at social things" and wasn't a cig smoker before, is now a cig smoker. For instance a buddy of mine started out with hookah and clove cigs only at parties. Then he moved on to a pipe and cigars because he "doesn't inhale." Now when he's really stressed out he smokes cigs. Yay tobacco.

meh, i smoke the hookah socially, really only over the summer, and whenever people come home from college, so maybe like 6 times a year so it cant do too much damage. i couldnt smoke cigs if i want to, i have lungs like a anorexic 10 year old girl with athsma.

my buddy has a hookah, we smoke it all the time. its cool to mix the sheesha (stuff you smoke in a hookah) and weed together in the head, and smoke that. you can take the biggest rip in the world, and you dont feel it. tastes great too.
i've smoked cigs on and off since i was 15. its a really bad, expensive habit that makes you smell like ---- and people not want to be around you. i quit january 4th of this year, and am doing great so far. its great to have an extra 20 bucks a week in your pocket, more you can spend on weeeeed
