smokin only when its spoolin
if anyone can help me i have a greddy turbo on a 94 sohc civic. it only smokes when its boostin. i can drive it like grandma all day and there will be no smoke but if i get on it it smokes bad. i heard about putting a reducer on the fedding oil line but i am not sure. if anyone could help let me know and its not the turbo greddy just rebuilt it. anyone from orlando fl.

oil is getting past your seals on teh turbo. *most likely* If you have an intake on your turbo, take it off anf feel the inlet for oil to see if its coming out there or the turbine. Answer the color question though. An oil restrictor would help if you dont have one.
