That must of been an old 540. I took mine to 155mph with three people @3am on the 5 fwy. with the ac still on... and thers no waiting for it to get to that speed. any almost any bmw mercedes are all hwy cars.. meaning there made for top end.

are you sure you didn't race a 525? oh you saw a 540 badge, probably had an ////|/| in front of it too So if in fact it said 540, I say rebadged or it may be real and you won because his 300 pound sub in the trunk was holding him back.
