Default Smog Check help

I'm smogging my car this week.
1. What octane would help? (lower/higher)
2. What afc settings would help? (lower/stock/higher fuel map)
3. Having the car warm/cold?
4. Any other tips?

With the turbo on there I doubt they'll even put it on the machine. Your gonna have a tough time unless you contact Mike (88turbocrx). He'll know what to do.

I didn't put the turbo setup after the track. Been running N/A. put back stock intake, cat, injectors, throttle body, vafc at base.

cx/vtec, b8/z6, p28, eg, n/a

i've been told
higher octane burns cleaner
engine warmed up is better

lower octane would burn more complete i would think. Why do turbo cars use high octane? cuz low octane ignites too easily.. which is what you want. so use 87. it's only NA anyways.

I've heard of people dumping in a bottle of rubbing alcohol on less then a quarter tank of fuel.. leaning the ---- out of the thing then filling it up with gas afterwards.

lean that bitch out, you can run 10%-15% alcohol without ------- anything up, sucks to have to go through emissions. Just drive down to one of the southern cities in az like sierra vista and register there so you dont have to have emissions

find a place thats going out of business and doesnt give a ----. thats what we did for a car in NC. you have to go through a "safety inspection" they just check for all the ---- like flashers, and lights and your horn and a cat.

we just found a place that was going out of business and they never even looked at our car. we took in the reg. and insurance card, parked where we werent right in front of the building(where they couldnt see our car from inside the building) and dressed really nice.

you would be so amazed at how people treat you if you dress like you are worth alot of money.

it works.
