Slightly scored bores
 

Hello on the block i brought for my nitrous build i have notcied the sleeves are slightly scored. on cylender no.3 you can just feel it if you rub your nail over it.

Can i get away with using it still

Its all ready been overpored .5mm to fit cp pistons.

May as well introduce my self and my goals as im so called a new girl :3

Im Ashley live in the uk ,mechanic, drive a 94 civic coupe currently hosting a poxy d15b7 with 4-2-1 mani aem cai z6 box thats it.

The other engine im building is a d16z6 so far ive currently got cp pistons 10:5.1 over .5mm, eagle rods. Will be getting head gas flowed and polished multi angle valve job and have bronze valve guides fitted, supertech valves and 1mm oversize for exhaust dunno what cam yet.

Going to be runing around 100 - 150 shot maybe more on a direct port

Didnt have nothing to post back then just looked through the boards now and again and gattherd info.

Now i do cause im building my engine and will need help now and again.

well, if youre really a girl named ashley, you have to post up a pic of your tits before we can further help you do anything with your build, this is one of the many HMT rules, dont ask me why, I never made the rules, I just follow them.

If you are indeed a guy named Ashley (as faggoty as that is), you better back that up with some real good porn, and I mean real good, like crazy drunk european girls.

No i brought the block with the cp pistons for £100, they guy who installed the cp pistons had the sleeves overbored so they would fit, it only lasted 1k miles before he fucked up big ends and crank, cranks sorted now,

he didnt even install the circlips either side of the gudgeon pin, that thing was floating around like a smackhead on crack :y

so im guessing the damage was done after it had been re-bored.
