Problem with ebay is I've tried to get about 4 sets. No one ships tires to Canada! I cant find ANY cheap slicks. The cheapest price I got is 235 a tire, unmounted, unbalanced for 22.00X8.00X13.00. And nobody in my area carries cheaper lines. All M/T's and Hossiers. Plus I live in a hick area where slicks under 28" is a STUPID idea at all the shops!

Snow tires? I've heard that too because of soft rubber but They have ALOT of tread flex? Wouldn't that hurt the point of running soft tires?

Somebody not too long ago asked about slicks. I told them buy "Blizzak" Slicks. Sure they're cheap for good slicks, but peeps are just gonna crack at ya with that name...

I use to think the same way and this is why I used to go around the waterbox becuase it was supposed to be like "launcing in a puddle of water". Than one time I actually went through the waterbox and burned the living ---- out of my tires and I got getter launches becuase of it. By theory its wrong but by my experience it works well for me.

snow tires are just your basic multi-ply tires with studs that are screwed into the outer edges of the tread. Nothing special.

Why don't you try chains on your tires?

that would be funny

Bridgestone Blizzak

One of my buddies swears by these as a cheap alternative. Although, I have never seen them in action with my own 2 eyes

snow tires are a joke around here, I wonder if they're cheaper because nobody needs them? onyx, send me a pair of snow tires and I'll do a fatty burnout with them and tell you if I get any sparks.
