of course any worn out shocks will ride better then good shocks, consider how it has no control rebound, your car just "flow" on the springs

Hahah, welll guess I'm odd man out in this debate.

I OWN a set and I love them. Little stiff, but they did wear in a little; however, they still deliver a firmer ride. Mike from LSD told me they'd be a little stiffer, but he assured me I'd like them and that Blues and GR-2s were just aftermarket stockish struts (as well as other people saying this too).

I like them, but to each thier own. I've ridden in heated springs, cut springs, junk coilovers, so I've expierenced some rough rides. The price seemed right and if I bought aftermarket I wanted them to have a little stiffness to them as well so I can't complain.

It's cold out and I noticed when it's cold my suspension seems stiffer and almost "tight" so the weather along with BRAND NEW struts may be making you a have a little harder ride than expected.

At first, I'll admit I was a little upset, but then they softened a tad and I enjoyed the solid ride they provided. I'm pleased.

i agree they were a little bouncy feeling and tight. but now after about 100 miles on em,
i think they are actually starting to feel decent. and the price was excellent 200 shipped bnib

See? Little disheartening at first, but I like them alot! $200 is a really good deal. Where from? I forget what Mike charged me, but it was still a good deal compared to the other places.

only skank 2 thing i ever owned is a short throw shifter, and that's probably the only part it seems they can make correctly from what i've heard.

Aren't those like $75 and then for the 'weighted' shift knob like $145 or some craziness?

i think i paid 120 for mine way back when i was just getting into the scene. It's a pretty solid piece, but it's basically an over glorified gsr shifter, you could probably cut a gsr one and get the same effect

Re: Skunk2 struts...anyone have these?

Tokico blues are ass along with GR-2's. I mean why do people buys these compared cause it's pretty much the same except you get the name brand on it. I've had Koni Yellows, AGX's, and Illuminas. The Yellows were nice but pain in the ass to adjust on my old CRX. I've had AGX's on my Galant and Civic and like them alot. Illuminas I had in the Z but didnt' get to try those out for that long before it blew the headgasket and lived the rest of it's life in the garage before I sold it. The Volvo is either gonna get Bilstein HD's or Yellows as it's the only thing left to buy for the suspension that won't be new after everything I bought for it these past few days. I say if your gonna put cash down on new shocks and springs, buy decent ----. Why buy ---- just to make your car ride like ass?
