Default sirius satellite radio

Anyone out there in the Connecticut area, what are some good fm stations for the sirius fmtransmitter, that isn't so fuzzy sounding all the time?

Dammit Wes!! I'm coming over this weekend to check that out. It shouldn't be fuzzy. My brother in law has it. I will ask him. You should go 4 wheeling with me on Sunday.

Its not that bad, but I can hear it just a little and it is annoying. I'll see about the 4 wheeling.

Its different everywhere...you just have to find a channel where there are no actual stations in the near area. When you travel with it...chances are you'll come across an area with an actual station on the frequency you are at.

Very easy to change...just have to play and figure out what works best in your area and then store a couple as your presets.

i have xm not sirius but im sure its the same... did they give you an fm transmitter to stick on your antenna... if so thats the problem... its not going to get anybetter ... you need a radio with an audio input and not the fm transmitter... mine had the worst crackle until i attached it straight to the antenna then my wife said... thank god that noise is gone... but i could still hear a little bit of an audible fuzz... now for anyone else who is in the communications field knows that the reason this is ... its because your going from an analog to a digital satellite signal (which im not sure what frequency's they use but im sure its up in the uhf or ehf range... could be wrong but i dont care to check) to an fm signal then to an anolog signal again for your ears pleasure... there are about 50 ways bits can get misconstrude so of course there will always be some fuzzyness... unles you elimenate something... so try to get a stereo that will elimenate the fm section of all of that...

im having trouble finding a car kit for an 06 mazda 3 or i would have already done this...

oh and john if your reading this... i bought an xm radio... poon toons ... enough said...

hahahahhahahahaha

Well i have sirius and mine has the fm transmitter in the reciever itself and all i had to do was set the transmit station to where i was not getting interfearance from regular fm stations then it was fine i dont hear any crackling. i would suggest finding a frequency that no other radio station around you is on and set it to that and if it crackling then try again.
