single cam story...
well once upon a time...
My little brother bought a little 88 hatch w/Y8 swap from a friend of a friend... the story is this little EF that could.... could actually pull on some b16s. yeah right!! a puny n/a single cam
he went on to say that this little monster ran a 14.8 in Seattle, and that previous to the Y8 swap "Abaz" had helped him do a ZC swap..."you know the guy that ownes homemadeturbo.com?"
i was skeptical... especially the whole 14.8 run sales pitch... but for the $3000 it was a clean little car.
After my lil bro brought it home and did the whole new owner break-in ritual... we took it out and that little car would surprise alot of people...but we had never timed it... people where getting pretty pissed that this little sigle cam would **** all over there mighty DOHC...
well finally the friend of a friend who now became a friend found the time slip.... and there it read, 14.8

Uhhhh I ran a 13.6 with my old turbo setup (AFC, 450's..nonintercooled, and a td04) on my SOHC accord 2.2 running 10 pounds. Who gives a ---- you ran a 14.9 or whatever. I know plenty stock Kias that run that. Good job!! :P

i was just simply sharing... The last time i looked 14.8 was pretty impressive for a N/A single cam but since i'm such the "noob" i could be completely wrong.
