"Eonline is reporting that, finally, after more than 10 years since Matt Groening said that a Simpsons film 'is way down the line', a movie based on The Simpsons is being made. It's still in its early stages and is being planned to be debuted in the summer or during Christmas time of 2006. The Simpsons has been on FOX for 15 seasons and averages 12.9 million viewers this season."

In the Treehouse of Horror episode where Homer cloned himself millions of times when they were chowing all the clones, one of them were the family guy. I thought that was ------- badass

yeah i have this badass asian friend thats prob gonna drive and 89 or 90 oldsmobile cus his family like doesnt use any money on cars and hes got like every episode of family guy. hes kinda like the asian guy you see in all tha movies that just wants to score and thats all

I have a feeling that it is a sign that the simspons are on the way out. Any time they make a movie out of a TV show (or vice versa) it never works out...

Except for Transformers the movie, of course ;D

I personally hope the movie doesn't get made. I can't see it being any good. I am a die hard Simpsons fan though and I don't think they will ever be on the way out. ---- they've been on the air since 1987, I watched them for %80 of my life.

Maybe they should make a Simpsons meet the Family Guy movie like they did with "The Flinstones meet the Jetsons". That won't be suicide

as of this year they are the longest running comedy series period.
in two years they will be the longest running series altogether, the only one beating them right now is "gunsmoke".

Are you ------- serious?? The Family Guy didn't last cause it was too controversial. They had soo many Hitler refrences and ----. But thats what made the show funny.
