should I make an insurance claim

I was out riding today and the roads were still kind of wet, I hit a corner underneath a bridge that had'nt dried out and the bike slid and I pretty much jumped it off the side of the road into some dirt. Its not that bad I can probually fix everything myself for a few hundred dollars. But I have full coverage insurance, my fear is that its enough for them to toal it, and I don't know how much my rates would go up, I also have a $100 deductable.
Heres a list of damage and how much I think it will cost

zbars($65) I have the stock bars in perfect shape in the basement as well
speedometer($100) ebay
tank, I'm not sure I'll probually have to get it painted to match or do a custom job so it could be exspensive, my bikes paint scheme was only availible one year and is pretty rare
clutch lever($10)
clutch resvoir cap($20)
head light ring($20)
grips I have a few extra sets laying around as it is so no biggie
and I got a small scuff in the tripple tree that I'm not going to fix

For such little damage I wouldn't report it. You'll lose your ass one way or another if they total it. :X

1999 suzuki intruder vs800 I've put quite a bit of work into it so I'd hate to see it totaled I ride it all the time too I've put around 8,000 miles on it in less than a year, it has 12,000 miles on it right now. I was thinking about going with some taller zbars anyways, just not a different paint job since I like the debadged stock one, heres a pic of what it looks like, right side still looks like that, the tank barely got hit >:( just a small dent, the tank is usable as is but I'll want to fix it eventually

hey thats a nice bike, fix it yourself. It will cost too much to go with your insurance in the long run.

Between your deductible and how much your rates will probably go up for the next 3 years if they consider it an at fault accident it would be MUCH cheaper to just fix it yourself. Insurance is such a scam. :3
