Should I get this del sol?? and random ----...bonus burnouts repost
The Sol (the disaster)
What do you guys think? As you may know, someone recently fucked my hatch-- smashed out all the windows, slashed my beautiful new snow tires, and put some pretty good dents in the body-- and I found a guy local to me that is trying to sell a del sol. I don't know the whole story behind it, but its a 93. It currently missing the rear bumper, both front fenders, the passenger seat, the axles, the ignition, and the front knuckles. Oh and he said he has a blitz bumper for it, so that will get tossed in favor of a stock one. And it comes with a balla c/f vis hood. And as you can see its in dire need of a paint job. So basically I'm thinking of buying this sol for dirt cheap and using my hatch as a parts car for myself. It has a z6 in it right now so i'll just use my extra axles and drive that for now so i can pull my b18b and rebuild it finally. I'm not sure at whats involved, but I could potentially do an eg hatch front end conversion to replace the missing fenders and gay bumper, and i'll just pull the whole suspension off my hatch and put it on the sol. Sounds like a lot of work i know, but i think i'll have time to do it over my week long thanksgiving break. The main thing stopping me is having another immobile car in my parents driveway.
but maybe I could finally put a head on that 91 dx and sell it or something. What do you guys think of the plan?
This is a classic. Forgot who did it and I was afraid it was lost in the Great Crash of 2006, so i'll repost it. It makes me cry from laughing everytime.

i'm pretty sure less than 500 is the name of the game, i wouldn't spend that much even. I think he's just lookin to get rid of it. I dunno though, waiting to hear back from him now

i wouldnt take that ---- if i got paid to pick it up. needs paint ha needs 1/4 of a car. if you are up for the work go for it, but dont pay to much. 500 is fair. you could part it out for aprox 500 prob more
