Should I fear for my job?
As many of you may or may not know... I work for Wachovia Bank N.A.
N.A.= National Association.. Not Naturally Aspirated. As of 6/2/08, our board of directors announced the forced resignation of our former CEO, Ken Thompson. Alot of this had to do with losses... Well, all of it had to do with losses. The guy had worked here for 32 years, BUT.. in 1Q 2008, Wachovia lost $350M. (Yes, that's $350 Million) Jun 1, 2007 Wachovia stock= $54 per share. Jun2, 2008 Wachovia stock= $22 per share. Now, they're already announced that Ben Jenkins will be taking his place as interim CEO. This happens to be the same Ben Jenkins that directly called me a piss-on in a site-wide meeting. Do I have something to be worried about? :'( |

Yeah... you piss-on...

Re: Should I fear for my job?
Unless you give him a reason he can't fire you just because.
You better not give them any reason though, unless they decide to "cut costs" and get rid of you. |
Re: Should I fear for my job?

Re: Should I fear for my job?
Empty out the safe and head to Mexico, where you will promptly be robbed by the "police."

Re: Should I fear for my job?
If he is the CEO he probably doesn't even remember who you are.

Re: Should I fear for my job?
Are you actually high enough up in the food chain to mean he will remember you personally?
If yes, start looking for a job, shouldn't be too hard. You're high up in the banking industry. If no, don't sweat it, you are just another pleb he decided to call a piss-on. And it didn't mean as much as you're making out. By the way, your bank ------- sucks and has ruined various 1st world economies. |

Re: Should I fear for my job?
well if he was just joking around then that changes everything. i wouldnt be worried, but you still might want to look for another job if wachovia is just getting worse and worse.

Alabama is a Right-To-Work state, and we can sue for wrongful termination. It's somewhat useless, because it's easy for the employer to come up with "reasons" you were fired. It IS our law though, and you can be taken to court for firing someone just because you don't like them. |
Re: Should I fear for my job?
---- his wife, then "piss-on" her!
|
Re: Should I fear for my job?
Explain to me what a "piss-on" is. That's some straight faggot ----, and I wouldn't want to work for somebody who can't come up with anything better to call me than "piss-on."

Re: Should I fear for my job?
I wouldnt necessarily be worried, but I would be trying to find an alternate job that can be placed on the back burner, helll maybe you will find a job that pays better and you enjoy more.
