why'd it take so long to get to 100mph? i used to rip through my gears in my turbo g2 ???

we were at an autocross event, and out of nowhere the organizer told us to line up. and we hit third gear, that's when I blew my charge pipe.

it took long to get to 100mph? the guy driving was granny shifting at 6200 because he drives a dodge and is used to shifting at 4 grand.

look at the speedo in the first vid, those cars are slow.
